Bumpling: Pregnancy & Baby ("Bumpling", "the app") is made by Socket Science (Celalettin Samyurek), 5575 Ross Rd, Abbotsford, BC, Canada ("we", "us"). Contact: support@socketscience.doctor.

    The short version
    Everything you enter (your child's name, dates, milestones, logs, notes and photos) stays on your phone. There are no accounts and no servers that store it.
We do not sell data. The app has no advertising and no ad tracking.
The app does not collect usage statistics.

  

What the app stores on your device

Profile details you enter: a name or nickname, due date, birth date, and whether your baby was born early.
Things you record: milestones, completed activities, feeding, sleep and diaper logs, checklists, appointment questions, memory cards and the photos you choose for them.
Settings such as reminder time, language and theme.

This data is saved in the app's private storage on your device. It may be included in your phone's own backups (for example iCloud or Android backup), under your account and the platform's terms. We cannot see it.

Photos

You can choose photos for memory cards. The app copies only the photos you pick into its private storage. It never reads the rest of your photo library and never uploads photos.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device. No server sends them, and their content never leaves your phone.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, Inc. To check whether Pro is active, RevenueCat receives your purchase history and a random app user identifier that is not linked to your name or email. We never receive your payment details. Links to other websites

The app links to sources such as the CDC, WHO and NHS, and to our YouTube channel. These open in your browser and are covered by those websites' own privacy policies.

Your choices and rights

Export: Settings → Export my data creates a file with everything the app stores, photos included.
Delete: Settings → Delete all data removes everything from the app. Uninstalling the app also removes it.

Because we do not hold your data on servers, you exercise your rights to access, correct and delete your data directly in the app. You have rights under the laws that apply to you, such as Canada's PIPEDA, British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act and the EU GDPR. Children

Bumpling is for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children, and children should not use it.

Health information

The app offers general information, not medical advice, and it is not a medical device. Information you enter about your pregnancy or your child stays on your device and is never shared with us or anyone else.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. If the app ever starts collecting data that leaves your phone, we will say so here before that version is released.
