Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Dentisity, developed and operated by Celalettin Samyurek, doing business as Socket Science.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dentisity.

Dentisity is designed for:

Dental professionals preparing for licensing or board examinations in any country
Dental students preparing for university or clinical examinations
Practicing dentists seeking continuing education and engaging in competitive quiz features for professional development

While the App is accessible to anyone who meets the age requirement, its educational content is specifically tailored to individuals with a background or interest in dentistry.

Account Registration and Guest Access

2.1 Registered Accounts

You may create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email and password. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your credentials secure, and all activity under your account.

2.2 Guest (Anonymous) Access

You may use a limited version of the App without registering by selecting "Continue as Guest." Guest accounts do not require personal information but have limited access to features. Guest progress cannot be recovered if the App is uninstalled.

We strongly recommend creating a registered account to preserve your progress.

First-Time User Experience

Upon first use, new users complete a professor-guided introductory exam consisting of three clinical case questions. Users who answer at least 2 out of 3 questions correctly are admitted to the App. Users who do not pass may retry the assessment.

Your individual question answers are not stored. Only your completion status (passed/not passed) is recorded.

App Features

4.1 Academy — Dental Specialty Study

The Academy allows users to study across dental specialty branches including Endodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics.

Users spend Coins or Gems to enter branch exams. Answering questions correctly earns XP for that branch. As XP accumulates, branch level increases. Every 10 levels, users unlock a new professional title providing permanent earning bonuses.

4.2 My Clinic — Clinic Building and Management

Users build and upgrade their own virtual dental clinic. Passive coin income is generated over time based on the clinic's prestige level and academic tier bonuses. Users upgrade clinic rooms using Coins.

4.3 Freelance Map — Case-Based Gameplay

Users take on clinical cases from virtual dental clinics on the Freelance Map. Completing cases earns Stars and Coins which unlock the My Clinic feature and contribute to the game's saga campaign.

4.4 Clinic Arena — Competitive Duels

Users compete against each other in live, real-time quiz duels. Arena participation consumes daily tickets (3 per day for free users; 5 for Dentisity Pro subscribers). Performance is tracked via an ELO rating system.

Weekly Arena Leaderboard Rewards: Top-ranked players receive rewards including Gems and exclusive clinic equipment items.

4.5 Leaderboards

Arena ELO rankings are visible to all users on the in-app leaderboard.

Virtual Currencies and Items

5.1 Coins and Gems

The App features two virtual currencies:

Coins — Earned through gameplay; used to enter academy exams, upgrade clinic rooms, and purchase in-game items
Gems — Rare currency earned through gameplay, weekly leaderboard rewards, daily streaks, and Dentisity Pro subscription

Both currencies have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, are non-transferable between accounts, and are subject to forfeiture upon account deletion or termination.

5.2 Virtual Items

In-game items (equipment, staff upgrades, clinic furniture) are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value.

5.3 No Real-Money Gambling

The App does not involve real-money gambling. All competitive features use in-game currencies only.

Dentisity Pro — Premium Subscription

We offer an optional premium subscription providing the following benefits:

Faster energy regeneration (every 4 minutes instead of 6)
Weekly Gem bonus: 50 Gems credited each week
Direct messaging with other users
Premium duels with other Dentisity Pro subscribers
Ad-free experience while subscription is active
AI-powered question translation to your preferred language
Increased Arena tickets (5 daily instead of 3)
Ability to view correct answers and explanations for any question

Subscription Billing

Charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
Automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before end of current period
Manage or cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings
No refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law

6.1 Introductory Free Trial Offer

Eligible new users may be offered a 3-day free trial of Dentisity Pro. The following terms apply:

Eligibility: First-time Dentisity Pro subscribers who have not previously held any Dentisity Pro subscription (including trials)
How it's presented: The offer appears only through a dedicated in-app screen after a new user completes their first clinical case
Trial period: 3 days (72 hours) from the moment the subscription is confirmed
No charge during trial: No amount is charged during the 3-day trial period
Automatic renewal: Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription
Cancellation: Cancel at any time via App Store or Google Play account subscription settings
One trial per account: The free trial may only be redeemed once per Apple ID or Google account

Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of advertisements. Dentisity Pro subscribers are not shown advertisements while their subscription is active.

Educational Content and Intellectual Property

8.1 Disclaimer

Dentisity provides dental exam preparation content intended solely for educational and exam preparation purposes.

The developer, Celalettin Samyurek, is a qualified and experienced dentist. Educational content has been reviewed for accuracy.
Portions of the content have been developed or translated with AI assistance and reviewed where practicable.
Despite our best efforts, the App may contain errors or outdated information. Dentisity content does not constitute professional dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
An in-app report button is available on every question screen to flag potential errors.
We make no guarantees regarding examination outcomes.

We disclaim all liability for any errors in the educational content and any consequences arising from reliance on that content.

8.2 Proprietary Question Content

All question content, answer options, explanations, case materials, and related educational data are proprietary to Celalettin Samyurek / Socket Science. You may not:

Copy, reproduce, screenshot, record, extract, or distribute Question Content in any form
Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to scrape or systematically collect Question Content
Sell, license, or commercially exploit Question Content

Unauthorized copying or distribution constitutes infringement of our intellectual property rights and may result in account termination and legal action.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
Post or transmit content that is harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or obscene
Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage
Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the App's servers or backend systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
Attempt to circumvent any in-app purchase, paywall, or subscription mechanism
Sell, transfer, or trade your account or in-game items for real-world currency

User-Generated Content

By submitting User Content (nicknames, profile biographies, clinic names, chat messages, direct messages), you:

Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display your User Content within the App
Represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws
Understand that global chat messages are visible to all users

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion.

Community Guidelines

When interacting with other users, you must:

Be respectful and constructive
Not harass, bully, or threaten other users
Not share personal contact information of other users without their consent
Not promote illegal activity, hate speech, or discrimination

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

Push Notifications

Dentisity may send push notifications related to in-game events. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device's system settings without affecting your in-app experience.

Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in cheating or fraud, attempt to copy proprietary Question Content, or use the App in a manner harmful to other users.

Upon termination, your access will be revoked and virtual currencies and items will be forfeited without compensation. You may delete your own account at any time through App settings.

Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including graphics, UI design, music, question content, gameplay systems, and the Dentisity and Socket Science names and logos — is owned by or licensed to Celalettin Samyurek / Socket Science and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results obtained will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOCKET SCIENCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to first contact us at dr.socketscience@gmail.com to seek an informal resolution.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you within the App. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
