About Socket Science

I am a dentist, and I built DentistUP after failing my board examination twice. I did not simply need more notes. I needed a way to discover what I did not know and understand how familiar concepts could be tested in unfamiliar ways.

I created a structured, AI-assisted question-based study system that let me work deeply through each topic, encounter many forms of the same underlying concept, and expose knowledge gaps immediately. Once I completed topic-level practice, I used full 100-question mock exams to test whether that knowledge held together under exam conditions.

On my third attempt, I recognized 14 questions that closely matched patterns I had practised and another 9 that were similar. That experience became the foundation of DentistUP. I am now making this study system available to other dentists who want a clearer, more active and more measurable way to prepare.
